Cupid's arrow

DSC05029

Found this unpublished photo from (almost) exactly two years ago. Wearing my then boyfriend's (now fiance!) sweater and hat. I said this when I first met him and I'll say it again now, my soon-to-be husband is the best dressed man I know.

Happy Valentine's Day! :)

Finally got some sun on my skin! The ombre hair has also lasted hasn't it? Surprisingly too after my traumatic hair job the first time around. Tan's starting to fade already....

Today is Mass' bday! Happy birthday big boy! hehe We just got home from dinner and I smell like a barbeque. Will show you why tomorrow. Goodnight!

Weather has been so good in London the past few days (praying, hoping that this isn't the last of it) so what better opportunity to break out the white linen suit. I do not know where I was before this suit, so classic!

I think Mass and I rub off on each other more than we realise when it comes to our fashion choices. I can't say that this is our first time where one of us has worn an item and the other has found the opposite gender version and wore it on the same day. Therefore we walk around like replicas of each other?

On this particular past Sunday it was abnormally warm in London (similar to what it will be like the rest of this week!) and we took it upon ourselves to finally ditch the winter jackets (though I will miss you shearling!). These photos were taken around Spitalfields market. We're currently in the process of renovating our flat (termed "the project") so we've been heading to showrooms/furniture sales on the weekend.

Some final pics from our weekend away in Coworth Park. The hotel had renovated old horse stables into hotel rooms and on the property you could go horse riding or play polo. We will definitely be back when the sun is out I reckon.

Hope you have a fantastic week ahead.

I know I've been lackadaisical with my blogging (I have a newfound appreciation and respect for those of you who blog and work and live all in one) but I'm sure it'll spring back into gear once I have a season to shoot in.

Anyway, this is a repeat of my new years post but I didn't feel it was done proper justice last time so I decided to re-wear and re-shoot it. This was at the Coworth Park restaurant a few weeks ago, great weekend indeed.

Don't you love Mass' jacket? He wore it with a pair of three quarter length pants (with pony hair trimming) and high top boots.

Hope you're having a good weekend. It's raining in London (yet again).

Random weekenders...

We're in the process of renovating our place (will post when major changes occur) and the weekends have been spent deciding, drawing, drafting up new ways of living.

Here are some pics from the weekend.

Armani (both EA and GA) create the most well-fitted jackets for men. The detailing of this jacket is an incredible combination of leather and zipper.

One of my current fav pairs: Elizabeth and James booties. They're not too tall and just edgy enough to wear daily.

I'm wearing: Stefanel sweater, Woo scarves from Shanghai, Uniqlo jeans, Asos shirt, Prada shoes, Banana Republic purple ring, Lion ring and Puma bracelet from Shanghai, Kenneth Jay Lane snake ring

Mass' wearing: Nico DiDonna pants/shirt/blazer, Woo scarf from Shanghai, Pocket square from Italy, Lardini shoes, Persol glasses

Living in London provides full rights to complain about the weather, which so far, has been crap. Summer officially starts today and we've been living in November fall for the past two months. Remember that Stefanel sweater? I had to throw my trenchcoat overtop to go out that evening. I know this girl who left London and moved to Dubai because she hated the weather. I thought she was crazy. Now, not so much.

These pics were from a relatively tame Saturday. Maybe because we were conserving energy for the Italy game (which turned out to be a draw) on Sunday. Quick photos were taken on the steps of the front of our building. Did I mention my love for high ceilings? It adds instant openness to any space.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Let's reconvene with some more interesting photos in a few.

Ciao!

not what you're wearing, but how you wear it.

Wearing: Theory elbow patch blazer, button up shirt from HK, AA shorts, Calzedonia socks, Elizabeth & James cut-out wedges, Kenneth Jay Lane snake ring

Remember my post back in the winter? You'd think that by the time summer came, men (I say this word loosely) would be used to the abundance of leg/skin frequented around the city. Apparently not. I couldn't even link Mass' arm down Soho because of stereotypical judgment glances that I was paid for. Stop wearing shorts you say? No. Stop complaining then? This is why I have you and the blog :)

I see shorts on almost every fashion blog, around every street corner, on every other girl (and sometimes boy). Do they get hoots and hollers?? Tell me, when you go out in above the knee shorts or mini skirts, are you getting the same response?

Regardless, the prime focal point of this outfit is the KJL snake ring that Mass bought me from NYC this past week. Love at first sight.

Hope you're having a great weekend so far!

Ciao ciao!
